Thursday night we wrapped up another successful sports season. I am very proud of all the student-athletes who worked hard every day.
I want to take a minute to highlight some people who made this another successful season.
To the coaches. You all are the leaders of this program and I thank you for giving these student-athletes the knowledge and motivation to grow daily. Without you, we have no athletics!!
To the custodians. You all are the backbone of the athletic program and the school itself as you continuously answer our calls and fill our requests. I personally appreciate all the setups, breakdowns, spill cleanups during events and so much more. A thank you isn't enough but know you are valued beyond words.
Lastly, but most certainly not least, I want to thank Coach Danielle for Indoor Track and Coach Jaylee for Cheerleading.
These two coaches volunteered their time to these respected sports for the winter roster. Although intramural, these added sports allowed the program to grow from just the originally slated Basketball and Swimming. This is the goal, to grow, elevate, and become a thriving program where our student-athletes have the option to choose more than one sport. I cannot thank the two of you enough!! I am in debt to both of you for taking on these roles and committing 2-3 days per week to give to these student-athletes.
I am looking forward to the spring season, the Plumb Hill MS future is looking brighter than ever!!
Go Bobcats!!
